Fitment Notes:

• Header Compatibility: Designed to mate seamlessly with the OEM Honda header pipe.

• The Mid-Range Wake Up: The CRF300L is a fantastic dual-sport, but its factory power delivery can feel incredibly flat right in the middle of the RPM range. The RS-12 slip-on targets this exact dead zone. By generating over a 7% increase in torque at 5,000 RPM, the bike will feel significantly more urgent when you roll on the throttle in second and third gear. This makes popping the front wheel over logs or accelerating out of deep sand much more predictable.

• Repacking is Maintenance: Unlike the factory baffled muffler, the RS-12 is a straight-through mechanical core wrapped in fiberglass packing material. Over time, extreme exhaust heat and pressure will burn this packing out, leading to a much louder exhaust note and a potential loss of power. For optimal performance, Yoshimura recommends repacking the muffler with their premium MX repack kit (REPACK-RS12-MX) every 6 to 8 hours of hard race use, or once a season for typical dual-sport trail riding.
