ROCS (Revolutionary Opposing Clamping System) is Xtrig’s unique triple clamp design that applies opposing clamp forces to the fork tubes. This helps prevent distortion and binding, improving suspension sensitivity, steering precision, and overall front-end stability.

Moving to a 25mm offset will slightly increase stability and make the steering feel a bit "slower" or more predictable at high speeds, though it may require a bit more effort to initiate a sharp turn compared to the stock 22mm setup.

Fitment Notes:

• The clamps are precision-bored to fit the KYB 48mm outer tubes. The "opposed" bolt design (where bolts enter from opposite sides) is specifically intended to solve the "pinching" issue common with standard clamps. On KYB SSS forks, over-tightening standard clamps can slightly deform the outer tube, which interferes with the internal piston and shim stack travel. The ROCS system maintains a perfectly round bore even at full torque
• Xtrig recommends the following settings using a calibrated torque wrench:
  • Upper Triple Clamp: 17 Nm / 12.5 ft-lb
  • Lower Triple Clamp: 15 Nm / 11.1 ft-lb
• Xtrig typically does not recommend using heavy grease or anti-seize on these pinch bolts, as it can lead to over-torquing.
• **If you are putting this kit on a 2006–2014 YZ250, the forks will fit perfectly, but you will likely need to use a 2015+ front fender and number plate because the bolt patterns on the Xtrig bottom clamp follow the modern Yamaha layout.
