SW-Motech Crash Bars for the Honda XL750 Transalp

The SW-MOTECH Crash Bars (SBL.01.070.10002/B) provide comprehensive lateral and engine impact protection for the Honda XL750 Transalp. When riding off-road or navigating rocky terrain, low-speed tip-overs and slide-outs place the Transalp's wide plastic fairings, side-mounted radiator cores, and exposed engine clutch and alternator covers at risk of severe structural damage.

Constructed from heavy-duty 27mm outer-diameter tubular steel with a durable 2.5mm wall thickness, these crash bars are CNC cold-bent and robotically welded to ensure dimensional accuracy. The system mounts directly to rigid frame anchor points on the motorcycle chassis, distributing lateral impact loads evenly across the frame rather than concentrating stress into the aluminum engine cases. A multi-stage surface treatment—consisting of an anti-corrosion primer followed by a durable black powder coat—protects the steel tubing from rust, stone chipping, and trail abrasion.
