SW Motech Rear Cargo Rack for the Ducati DesertX

The SW-Motech Adventure-Rack provides a rugged, highly versatile luggage mounting solution specifically engineered for the Ducati DesertX. Manufactured from 4mm-thick aluminum alloy, this rear rack is designed to support heavy loads and withstand severe off-road vibration.

The Adventure-Rack features a modular platform with multiple large tie-down points, making it easy to securely lash down soft tail bags, roll bags, or dry bags. Additionally, the plate features precision-drilled functional bores that allow for the quick integration of adapter kits (sold separately). This modularity allows you to easily mount hard luggage, including SW-Motech TRAX top cases, SysBags, or third-party top cases from brands like Givi, Shad, and Krauser. It mounts directly to the DesertX factory subframe points using model-specific hardware.

Fitment Note:

• Vibration Mitigation: The Ducati DesertX produces a healthy amount of L-twin vibration, which translates directly through the subframe and into the rear rack. When installing this hardware, thoroughly clean the factory bolt threads and apply a medium-strength (Blue) STUCK NUTZ to all mounting bolts to prevent them from backing out during long off-road rides.
