The "Plus" designation indicates the inclusion of integrated filter caps. When the caps are left open, the acoustic filter allows safe ambient sounds—like sirens, traffic, and in-helmet comms—to pass through while blocking harmful noise spikes. When closed, the earplugs deliver a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB for maximum protection during high-speed highway touring or track days.
