Safety wire is one of the handiest things to have around the shop. A good set of safety wire pliers can really take your safety wire game to the next level. Clamp down, lock and pull for perfect twisted wire connections and tails every time. 

This particular set of safety wire pliers is the good set. These are made in Taiwan and will likely last you a lifetime if taken care of. There is a made in China version that simply doesn't hold a candle to these. You can find those here if that is your preference.
