The Rekluse RadiusX 4.0 Clutch Kit (RMS-8322001) is a high-performance, drop-in auto-clutch system engineered specifically for the highly capable CFMOTO Ibex 450 and 450MT adventure platforms. By combining Rekluse's proprietary TorqDrive thin friction disks with their next-generation EXP 4.0 auto-clutch disk, this kit upgrades your entire clutch pack within the factory OEM basket footprint. The centrifugal EXP 4.0 disk automatically engages and disengages based on engine RPM, virtually eliminating stalling in tight, technical off-road terrain.

With the RadiusX system installed, you can come to a complete stop in gear and roll on the throttle to take off, all without touching the clutch lever. However, you retain full manual clutch lever override at all times, allowing you to manually slip the clutch for log crossings or lofting the front wheel over obstacles. The inclusion of the TorqDrive friction pack increases the torque capacity over the OEM clutch, resulting in a more direct power transfer to the rear wheel while extending the overall life of the clutch system.

Fitment Notes:

• Compatibility: Drops directly into the factory OEM clutch basket. Retains the use of the factory clutch cover.

• The Free Play Gain Check: A Rekluse auto-clutch requires a very specific mechanical setup to function correctly and avoid burning out the TorqDrive friction plates. This setup is verified through a measurement called "Free Play Gain." Because the EXP 4.0 disk physically expands as engine RPM increases, the clutch lever will actually move slightly on its own when you rev the engine in neutral. You must follow the manual meticulously to set the starting cable tension, and then check your Free Play Gain using the rubber band method outlined in the Rekluse instructions. If you skip this step, you will rapidly burn up your new clutch on the trail.

• Tuning for Terrain: Out of the box, the EXP 4.0 disk comes pre-configured with a medium engagement setting that works perfectly for 90% of adventure riders. However, if you are carrying heavy luggage in deep sand or tackling extremely slow, rocky single-track, you can swap out the internal EXP springs and wedge weights (included in the tuning kit) to make the clutch engage at a higher or lower RPM. Taking the time to dial in the engagement point will completely transform how your Ibex 450 handles technical terrain.
