Puig Kickstand Pad Extension for the Ducati DesertX & Multistrada

The Puig Kickstand Extender (20276N) is a simple, highly effective bolt-on upgrade designed to provide a secure parking foundation for heavy Ducati adventure motorcycles. By increasing the original kickstand's contact patch by 100%, this extension prevents the side stand from sinking into soft dirt, hot asphalt, grass, or loose gravel, which commonly leads to costly tip-overs.

The extender features a hybrid construction designed for maximum strength and minimal weight. The main base block is CNC-machined from solid aluminum and finished with a durable black anodizing, while the upper clamping plate is stamped from high-strength stainless steel. Weighing in at less than 160 grams, it adds virtually no unsprung weight to the motorcycle and is precision-machined to ensure it does not interfere with the chassis, chain, or swingarm when folded into the riding position.
