The MSC Moto RM3 Pro Kit for the Tenere 700 provides a complete bolt-on system that combines the proven RM3 Steering Damper with MSC's APEX Anti-Vibration Handlebar Mounts. Designed to significantly reduce rider fatigue during long-distance overland travel and aggressive off-road riding, the system tackles both lateral front-end deflection and high-frequency chassis vibrations simultaneously.
The RM3 steering damper prevents sudden handlebar deflection (tank slappers) caused by rocks, roots, or deep sand, utilizing an active return-to-center dampening circuit. Paired with the APEX mounts, which utilize tuned polyurethane cones to isolate the handlebars from the triple clamp, the Pro Kit absorbs harsh engine vibrations and square-edged trail impacts. The entire assembly is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade billet aluminum, delivering robust structural integrity without adding unnecessary top-heavy weight to your motorcycle.
RM3 Steering Damper: Fully adjustable rotary damper eliminates headshake and stabilizes the front wheel in unpredictable terrain.
APEX Anti-Vibration Mounts: Four-point polyurethane isolation cones dampen high-frequency engine buzz and reduce sharp impact forces to the rider's wrists and shoulders.
Active Return-to-Center: The RM3 circuit offers dampening away from center but allows for a zero-resistance return, keeping steering inputs feeling light and natural.
Premium Construction: Precision CNC-machined in Australia from high-grade billet aluminum for exceptional durability.
Direct Bolt-On: Engineered specifically for the Yamaha T7 chassis, requiring no drilling, welding, or permanent frame modifications to install.
Oversized Bar Fitment: Replaces the OEM 7/8" bar mounts to accommodate stronger 1-1/8" (28.6mm) oversized handlebars (like a Fatbar or ProTaper).

Understanding APEX Flex: Upon initial installation, you may notice that you can manually flex the handlebars slightly forward and backward. This is completely normal. The APEX system relies on this tuned movement within the polyurethane cones to absorb kinetic energy before it reaches your hands. Once you are riding, this flex is imperceptible as a movement, but highly noticeable in the reduction of arm pump and hand numbness.
