Because it is a "Ready-To-Use" formula, Motorex M3.0 requires zero mixing. It is pre-diluted at the factory with highly purified, demineralized water, ensuring that no harmful minerals, calcium, or scale are introduced into your cooling system. Application Notes:

• Pink/Magenta Color: Motorex M3.0 is dyed a distinct pink/magenta color to help identify it as an OAT fluid.

• Do Not Mix: Do not mix this OAT coolant with traditional green or blue silicate-based coolants. Mixing differing coolant technologies can cause the fluids to gel, instantly clogging your radiator cores.

• Universal Aluminum Safe: While recommended specifically by KTM brands, this coolant is highly effective and safe for any modern motorcycle with an aluminum engine block and radiator.

• Chemistry Clash: If you are switching your motorcycle over to Motorex M3.0 from a traditional green, blue, or yellow silicate coolant, you must perform a complete system flush first. Drain the old fluid, fill the radiator with pure distilled water, run the bike for a few minutes to circulate it, and drain it again. If you mix OAT (pink) coolant with Silicate (green) coolant, the chemical reaction causes the additives to drop out of suspension, creating a thick, muddy sludge that will destroy your water pump and block the tiny cooling passages in your cylinder head.

• Tap Water: In a pinch, riders will often top off their radiators with a splash of tap water or drinking water from a hydration pack. While this gets you home, tap water contains calcium and minerals. As the engine heats up, those minerals bake onto the inside of the aluminum radiator tubes, creating a layer of scale. Scale acts as an insulator, preventing the coolant from pulling heat out of the engine block. Because Motorex M3.0 is pre-mixed with purified demineralized water, using it exclusively guarantees the inside of your radiator stays completely scale-free for the life of the motorcycle.
