Rotor Requirement: This bracket is strictly designed for use with 270mm front brake rotors. It will not work with standard OEM 250mm rotors or larger 320mm supermoto setups.
Why 270mm:Many older Yamaha YZ and WR models came from the factory equipped with standard 250mm front rotors. While adequate for casual riding, aggressive track riders and fast woods racers often experience brake fade and a spongy lever feel when pushing the pace. Hardware and Threadlocker: When installing caliper adapter brackets, always inspect the threads of your factory mounting bolts for wear or stretching.
