Replacing a leaking countershaft seal is a common maintenance task, but prying the old seal out with standard screwdrivers or picks often leads to severely scratched engine cases. Manufactured from durable steel, this puller utilizes a unique internal expansion mechanism. Once inserted into the center of the old seal, the tool flares outward to grip the inner lip. By turning the extraction bolt, the seal is pulled perfectly straight out of its bore. Fitment Notes:

• Universal Application: Works on virtually all modern 2-stroke and 4-stroke dirt bike, street bike, and ATV engines utilizing a countershaft seal with an ID between 29mm and 47mm.

• Wrench Sizes: You will need two standard wrenches to operate this tool effectively. Use a 17mm open-end wrench to turn the expansion bolt clockwise until the tool flares out to grip the seal tightly. Then, use a 14mm wrench or socket to turn the primary puller bolt clockwise to extract the seal from the engine.  

• Prep the Threads: Before inserting the puller into the seal, back both bolts out and apply a light coat of grease to the tool's threads. The tool operates under immense pressure when extracting stubborn, heat-cycled seals. Keeping the threads lubricated prevents galling and ensures smooth operation for years to come.
