Moose Racing 8mm HDPE Skid Plate for the Yamaha Tenere 700

The Moose Racing Pro LG Skid Plate (0506-2615) is an updated, heavy-duty off-road engine and chassis guard designed to fit the complete 2020 through 2026 generation of the Yamaha Ténéré 700. Manufactured in Europe by AXP Racing as a private label for Moose Racing, this revised version utilizes updated mounting geometry to accommodate both the original T7 chassis and the newer 2025+ models.

Constructed from ultra-robust 8mm-thick High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), this skid plate offers comprehensive protection for the engine cases, water pump, side stand sensor, and lower frame rails. Unlike rigid aluminum plates that can permanently bend, snag on rocks, and loudly reflect engine noise, the HDPE material absorbs massive impacts, springs back to its original shape, and drastically dampens acoustic vibration. The "Pro LG" designation indicates an extended rear tail guard designed specifically to protect the Ténéré's vulnerable lower shock linkage from expensive damage during technical enduro riding.
