The Mitas Enduro Trail Adventure Motorcycle Tire—formerly known worldwide as the Mitas E-07—is a true 50/50 dual-sport and adventure touring tire engineered for balanced performance across paved highways and rugged off-road terrain. Adventure touring demands a tire carcass capable of carrying heavy luggage and passenger loads over thousands of highway miles without squaring off prematurely, while retaining the block biting edges required to climb rocky two-track, loose gravel roads, and hard-packed dirt.
Retaining the proven chevron-style directional tread block architecture of the original E-07, the Enduro Trail utilizes a hard-wearing rubber compound combined with a robust, puncture-resistant casing. The interconnected center tread blocks deliver smooth tracking, low road noise, and stable straight-line braking on dry and wet asphalt. Deep, angled lateral tread grooves channel water, slush, and loose trail silt out from under the contact patch, maintaining mechanical bite on dirt passes and backcountry discovery routes (BDRs).
True 50/50 On/Off-Road Design: Balances high-speed highway stability and extended tread wear with reliable traction on gravel, dirt, and rocky trails.
Proven Chevron Block Architecture: Interlocking directional tread profile maximizes the pavement contact patch while providing aggressive lateral biting edges off-pavement.
Extended Wear Compound: High-mileage compound formulated to resist center-tread cupping and flat-spotting under heavy touring loads.
Deep Lateral Water Evacuation: Open shoulder voids and deep circumferential channels pump water and loose silt away from the contact face.
Reinforced Carcass Stability: Multi-ply carcass structure resists impact bruising from embedded rocks and delivers predictable lean-angle transitions.
E-07 Heritage: Replaces the legendary Mitas E-07 with the identical tread profile, structural reliability, and wear characteristics trusted by transcontinental riders.

Tube / Tubeless Application: Available in Tubeless (TL) configurations for cast/sealed adventure rims and Tube-Type (TT) or TL running tubes on traditional spoked rims.
Standard vs. Dakar (Yellow Stripe) Carcass: The Enduro Trail is offered in both standard and Dakar editions. TheStandard version offers a more compliant carcass that conforms easily to terrain at standard pressures and installs readily with manual tire irons. TheDakar version (marked with a yellow stripe) features an additional carcass ply, stiffer sidewalls, and a marginally firmer compound. The Dakar version provides maximum resistance to pinch flats and rim strikes on loaded ADV bikes in jagged rock, but its stiff sidewalls require mechanical bead-breakers or robust trail levers to mount.
Cold Break-In & Pressure Guidelines: New Enduro Trail tires carry a protective mold-release sheen on their broad chevron blocks. Exercise caution during the initial 50 to 100 miles on wet asphalt while the surface scuffs in. For optimal tread longevity, maintain manufacturer-recommended road pressures (typically 32–36 psi rear / 30–34 psi front) on pavement transfers. When airing down for technical rocky terrain or loose sand, do not drop below 20–22 psi on heavy adventure bikes to prevent rim damage.
