Maxima Castor 927 2 Stroke Oil

Maxima Castor 927 is a premium 2-stroke engine oil that blends highly refined castor oil with an advanced synthetic ester system. Formulated specifically for high-RPM, high-stress racing applications, Castor 927 takes advantage of castor oil's unique ability to continue lubricating at extreme temperatures where other conventional and synthetic oils simply vaporize or carbonize.

While traditional castor oils are notorious for causing gummy buildup, Maxima utilizes a proprietary additive package that drastically reduces carbon formation and keeps power valves operating smoothly. It also provides an unmatched boundary layer of protection on cylinder walls and piston skirts to prevent metal-to-metal scuffing under severe loads. As an added benefit, Castor 927 produces the iconic, sweet exhaust scent synonymous with classic 2-stroke motocross racing.

Fitment Notes:

• Pre-Mix Only: This oil is designed strictly as a pre-mix fuel additive for carbureted or throttle-body injected 2-strokes that require premix.

• Not for Injection: Do NOT use Castor 927 in electronic oil-injection systems (such as Beta Xtrainer/RR or KTM/Husqvarna TPI/TBI models equipped with oil tanks). The high viscosity castor base is engineered to be diluted by gasoline before it travels through your engine. Pouring Castor 927 into the dedicated oil tank of a modern oil-injected 2-stroke will alter the ratio: overwork and eventually burn out the delicate electronic oil pump, possibly resulting in catastrophic engine failure.

• Fuel Compatibility: Safe for use with leaded and unleaded gasoline. Not recommended for use with alcohol-based fuels (Methanol/Ethanol) or heavily oxygenated race fuels.

• Temperature Warning: Castor oil naturally separates from petroleum-based fuels at near-freezing temperatures. If you mix your fuel and leave your gas can in a freezing garage or ride in temperatures below 35°F (2°C), the castor oil can separate and drop to the bottom of the tank, leaving your engine running straight gas. If you are a dedicated winter rider or snow-biker, you should switch to a full synthetic like Maxima K2. If you do store Castor 927 mixed fuel in a cold garage, always bring the can inside to warm up and shake it vigorously before pouring it into your motorcycle.
