Maxima Assembly Lube (69-01904) is a specialized, high-viscosity lubricant designed to coat and protect vital internal engine components during initial startup and break-in. Cold engine assembly creates a high-friction environment: standard motor oils rapidly drain off dry metal surfaces during assembly, leaving cams, lifters, wrist pins, and rod bearings vulnerable to immediate metal-to-metal contact, scuffing, and premature wear before oil pressure establishes.
Formulated with a dense concentration of anti-wear additives—including Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP), Molybdenum, and extreme-pressure agents—Maxima Assembly Lube clings tenaciously to sliding and rotating steel parts. It creates an impenetrable boundary layer that resists high shear loads and severe pressure during initial crankover. Fully soluble in all petroleum-based and synthetic motor oils, it dissolves cleanly into the engine oil once oil pressure stabilizes, without clogging oil filters or altering oil viscosity.
High-ZDDP & Moly Content: Packed with zinc, phosphorus, and organo-moly additives to prevent metal-to-metal galling, scuffing, and seizure on new engine parts.
Exceptional Surface Tack: Heavy viscous formula clings firmly to vertical and rotating metal surfaces, preventing dry startups even if an assembled engine sits for weeks prior to first fire.
Fully Oil Soluble: Dissolves completely into mineral and synthetic motor oils during the initial thermal cycle without clogging oil galleries or filter media.
Corrosion Resistance: Contains specialized rust and oxidation inhibitors to protect freshly machined bare-metal surfaces during storage and build time.
Multi-Component Protection: Suitable for camshaft lobes, lifters, valvetrain buckets, wrist pins, rod bearings, main bearings, and transmission gears.
1x Maxima Assembly Lube (4 fl. oz. / 118 ml Bottle)
Application Technique: Apply liberally to all high-load sliding surfaces, bearing shells, wrist pins, and camshaft lobes prior to final engine casing assembly.
2-Stroke vs. 4-Stroke: Primarily engineered for 4-stroke top-end/bottom-end rebuilds and 2-stroke transmission assembly. (For 2-stroke piston/cylinder assembly, light 2-stroke oil is recommended).
