• Pannier Clearance: Fully compatible with both the Vario plastic cases and the aluminum BMW Adventure pannier racks.

   

• Slip-On Simplicity: One of the best aspects of installing a slip-on exhaust on the R 1200/1250 GS is the simplicity. Because BMW houses the catalytic converter and the exhaust flapper valve (servo) in the header section of the exhaust, swapping the muffler does not trigger any check-engine lights or require a "servo buddy" eliminator. It is a direct bolt-on procedure that takes about 15 minutes, instantly rewarding you with a deeper boxer growl without making the bike obnoxiously loud for highway touring.

   

• Heat Shield Installation: The kit includes a high-quality carbon fiber heat shield to replace the stamped metal factory piece that sits over the mid-pipe junction. Be sure to use a dab of medium-strength (blue) threadlocker on the heat shield bolts, as the massive 1250cc twin-cylinder engine produces significant vibration that can easily back out small hardware over time.
