The LeoVince Cat Eliminator Link Pipe (80046) is a direct-replacement mid-pipe designed to remove the heavy, heat-soaking factory catalytic converter from the KTM 890 Adventure platform. By eliminating the restrictive OEM catalytic converter, this link pipe significantly improves exhaust gas flow, resulting in better throttle response and a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note.
Manufactured from high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, the link pipe features precision hand-laid TIG welds for maximum structural integrity and a clean, raw mechanical aesthetic. One of the most significant benefits of this modification is heat reduction. The factory cat sits directly in front of the rear shock and traps an immense amount of heat, which can lead to premature shock fade during aggressive off-road riding. Removing it keeps your suspension cooler and sheds a substantial amount of weight low down on the chassis. This mid-pipe is designed to pair perfectly with your factory OEM muffler or any aftermarket slip-on exhaust designed to fit the stock header and cat junction.
Heat Reduction: Eliminates the massive heat sink of the factory catalytic converter, protecting your rear shock from thermal fade and keeping the rider cooler.
Significant Weight Loss: Drops a considerable amount of weight compared to the bulky factory emissions equipment.
Premium Construction: Built from highly durable, corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel.
Hand-TIG Welded: Features precision, hand-laid TIG welds for a high-end finish and leak-free performance.
Modular Compatibility: Retains the factory mounting points and works seamlessly with the stock silencer or any standard aftermarket slip-on.
Direct Bolt-On: Installs using the factory exhaust clamps and mounting hardware.

NOTE: Re-use your factory exhaust clamps and graphite gasket rings for installation.
The Heat Factor: If you ride your 890 Adventure aggressively off-road, the rear shock works incredibly hard. The factory catalytic converter sits mere inches from the shock body, radiating intense heat that thins out the suspension fluid, leading to a bouncy, uncontrolled rear end (shock fade) halfway through a long trail. The LeoVince link pipe removes the heat source entirely, ensuring your expensive suspension performs consistently all day.
Fueling and ECU Tuning: The KTM LC8c parallel-twin engine already runs exceptionally lean from the factory to meet global emissions standards. By removing the restrictive catalytic converter, you increase exhaust flow, which causes the engine to run even leaner. While the bike will run and ride with this pipe installed on the stock ECU, we highly recommend pairing this modification with a fuel dongle (like the Rottweiler or Coober options) or a full ECU flash. Correcting the air/fuel ratio will eliminate low-RPM jerkiness, reduce engine temperatures, and unlock the true horsepower potential of the decat.
