270mm Galfer Front Wave Brake Rotor for the Suzuki DR-Z4S

Fitment Notes:

• 2025+ Suzuki DR-Z4S: Direct bolt-on replacement (OEM size is 270mm).

• 2000-2024 Suzuki DR-Z400S / DR-Z400E: Fits as an oversized upgrade. Requires a caliper relocation bracket (sold separately) to accommodate the larger 270mm diameter.

• The 270mm Advantage: For years, DR-Z400 owners have had to upgrade to a 270mm rotor just to get modern stopping power out of a heavy dual-sport. Suzuki finally recognized this and made 270mm the stock size for the 2025+ DR-Z4S. If you are on a new DR-Z4S, this is a premium OEM replacement that clears mud better than the stock disc. If you are on an older DR-Z400, this is the exact rotor you need to modernize your front brakes—just don't forget you have to order the bracket to make it fit.

• Bedding-In Process: Installing a new brake rotor without properly bedding in the pads will lead to poor performance and premature wear. We highly recommend installing a fresh set of brake pads anytime you install a new rotor. To bed them in, perform several moderate stops from medium speed, allowing the brakes to cool slightly between stops. This transfers an even layer of friction material from the pad to the new stainless steel rotor.

• Installation: When installing the kickstand extender, it is recommended that you apply a drop of medium-strength (blue) STUCK NUTZ Threadlocker to the threads of the small mounting bolts. The heavy, low-frequency vibrations produced by these engines can rattle these small bolts loose over time.
