FMF PowerBomb Header for the Suzuki DR-Z400S / DR-Z400SM

The FMF PowerBomb Header is a direct-replacement performance upgrade for the Suzuki DR-Z400. It features FMF's patented PowerBomb module positioned precisely in the initial stage of the header. This specialized expansion chamber allows exhaust gases to expand, cool, and ramp back up at a higher velocity, resulting in improved exhaust flow and a noticeable increase in low-to-midrange torque.

In addition to performance gains, the outer chamber acts as a pre-muffler. By providing more surface area for exhaust gases to expand, it effectively lowers the overall sound output of your motorcycle by absorbing exhaust sonics. Constructed entirely from durable stainless steel, this header is built to withstand extreme heat and severe off-road abuse without rusting or deteriorating over time.

Fitment Note: 

• NOT intended for use with the stock DRZ400 muffler.
  
• Replace the EXHAUST GASKET when installing this header. 
• Jetting may need to be adjusted for optimal performance.
• Because the PowerBomb module physically widens the header pipe profile, clearance can be extremely tight if you are running certain oversized aftermarket aluminum skid plates. If the header touches the plate, you may need to slightly space your skid plate down with washers or trim a small relief cut into the skid plate wing to prevent the header from vibrating against the aluminum.
