Engine Ice Pure Performance Racing Coolant (13388) is a premium, ready-to-use heat transfer fluid formulated specifically for high-stress motorcycle, ATV, and UTV engines. Unlike traditional ethylene glycol-based antifreeze, Engine Ice utilizes a non-toxic propylene glycol base blended with deionized water. This specific chemical makeup offers superior heat transfer coefficients, pulling heat away from the cylinder walls more efficiently to actively lower operating temperatures.

Engine Ice provides exceptional boil-over protection up to 256°F (when used with a standard 15 psi radiator cap) and freeze protection down to -26°F. It is engineered to be entirely safe for all internal cooling system components, including aluminum, magnesium, cast iron, copper, and brass, while preventing gasket degradation and water pump seal failure. Because it is non-toxic and phosphate-free, it is permitted by many major road racing and motocross sanctioning bodies where standard ethylene glycol is banned.

Application Notes:

• Universal Fitment: Suitable for all liquid-cooled motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles.

• Volume Requirement: Most modern full-size dirt bikes will take roughly half a bottle (approx 32 oz). Adventure bikes and multi-cylinder street bikes will generally require 1.5 to 2 bottles. Check your factory service manual for exact system capacities.

• The Mandatory Flush: If you are switching from standard green OEM coolant (ethylene glycol) to Engine Ice (propylene glycol), you must flush your cooling system thoroughly. When the two different chemical bases mix, they can gel up and clog the small passageways inside your radiators. Drain your old coolant, fill the system with a 50/50 mix of distilled water and white vinegar, run the bike until warm, drain it, flush it once more with pure distilled water, and then fill it with Engine Ice.

   

• Slow Speed Survival: Standard street bikes rely on 60mph airflow to keep the engine cool.
