Continental TKC 80² Adventure Motorcycle Tire

The Continental TKC 80² (Generation 2) is the complete redesign of an adventure icon that has set the 50/50 standard for over 40 years. Engineered from the ground up for modern, high-horsepower adventure bikes, the TKC 80² retains the legendary "big block" aesthetic while incorporating cutting-edge tread geometry and carcass technology. With a 17% increase in the center contact patch and the inclusion of RainGrip technology, this second-generation legend delivers significantly better high-speed stability, wet-weather safety, and off-road mechanical grip than its predecessor.

Features:

• 17% Larger Footprint: A redesigned center block arrangement increases the contact patch by 17%, significantly improving high-speed stability and preventing the "knobby squirm" on pavement.

• RainGrip Technology: Utilizing Continental’s latest silica compound, the TKC 80² offers dramatically better grip on cold, wet asphalt—a major safety upgrade over the 40-year-old compound of the original.

• Staggered Block Geometry: The new "offset" block design creates more biting edges. The front blocks are sloped for better braking bite, while the rear blocks are oriented for maximum drive and acceleration.

• Bias-Ply Construction: Continental stuck with a bias-ply carcass for its superior damping off-road and better puncture resistance on remote trails as well as a quiet, stable ride on the highway.
