The AXP Racing Adventure Skid Plate provides comprehensive undercarriage protection for your Kove 800X Pro or Rally. Manufactured from a proprietary 8mm-thick High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This skid plate offers a significant functional advantage over traditional aluminum by absorbing heavy impacts and flexing back into its original shape without permanently denting. It is designed for maximum coverage, safely shielding the water pump, engine cases, exhaust header, and rear suspension linkage from trail damage.
In addition to its impact resistance, the HDPE construction inherently improves trail performance. The polymer completely eliminates the metallic resonance and vibration common with alloy plates, resulting in a noticeably quieter ride by dampening valve train noise. Furthermore, its naturally low coefficient of friction allows the motorcycle to glide effortlessly over jagged rocks and tall logs without grabbing or hanging up on obstacles.
