AXP Racing Adventure Skid Plate for the CFMOTO Ibex 450 / 450MT

The AXP Racing Adventure Skid Plate (AX1766) provides uncompromising off-road protection for the CFMOTO Ibex 450 and 450MT without the excessive weight and engine noise reflection associated with traditional aluminum bash plates. Manufactured in Europe from 8mm-thick High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), this plate is engineered to absorb violent trail impacts, returning to its original shape rather than permanently bending or denting.

The AXP design fully encloses the vulnerable lower engine block, shielding the water pump, exhaust system, and crankcases. To prevent severe impacts from transferring directly into the engine, high-density foam pads are supplied to act as a shock-absorbing buffer between the plastic plate and the engine block. Weighing in at just 4.85 lbs (2.2 kg), this HDPE skid plate is 30% to 40% lighter than equivalent alloy options while completely eliminating the loud, metallic ringing noise generated when rocks strike the bottom of the motorcycle.
