Fitment Notes:

• The Crimp Clamp Warning: This kit utilizes Oetiker-style stainless steel ear clamps to secure the high-pressure corrugated hose to the pump motor and the module housing. Do not attempt to crush these clamps with standard needle-nose pliers or diagonal cutters, as you will deform the clamp and guarantee a leak. Fuel injection systems run at around 50 PSI; if that internal hose blows off inside the tank while you are riding, the bike will instantly die. Use proper Oetiker crimp pliers to ensure a factory-grade, 360-degree seal.

• Cleanliness is Mandatory: The number one cause of premature fuel pump failure is dirt and sand entering the fuel tank during refueling or module removal. Before you pull the OEM module out of your gas tank, meticulously clean the area around the mounting flange. When reassembling the pump with this new kit, work on a perfectly clean workbench. Even a microscopic grain of sand that bypasses the strainer can lock up the impeller on your new pump motor or instantly clog your fuel injector.
