The All Balls Fuel Pump Rebuild Kit (47-2032) provides a cost-effective, high-quality solution for restoring proper fuel pressure and delivery to your motorcycle. Instead of replacing the entire, highly expensive OEM fuel pump assembly when the internal motor fails or the primary filter clogs, this kit allows you to rebuild the core mechanism directly.
Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, the replacement pump guarantees consistent fuel flow and pressure. This effectively resolves common fuel starvation issues such as hard starting, lean hesitation during acceleration, and high-RPM power loss. Highly utilized on the Yamaha Tenere 700 and its CP2 engine siblings, it is an essential maintenance item for high-mileage adventure bikes exposed to varied fuel qualities around the world.
Cost-Effective Repair: Replaces only the failed internal pump motor and primary filter, saving hundreds of dollars compared to a complete OEM module replacement.
OEM Performance: Engineered to strictly match factory fuel pressure and volume specifications for reliable engine operation and correct air/fuel mapping.
Complete Overhaul: Includes the replacement pump motor, a new pre-filter strainer, required O-rings, and a wiring pigtail.
Direct Fitment: Designed to drop perfectly into the factory fuel pump housing with no modifications required to the plastic carrier.
1x All Balls Fuel Pump Motor
1x Primary Fuel Filter Strainer
1x Wiring Harness Pigtail
Replacement O-Rings and Seals
The Strainer Reality: Often, what feels like a failed fuel pump is actually just a heavily clogged pre-filter strainer. Bad gas or dirt accumulation in the tank restricts flow, causing the pump to overheat, cavitate, and eventually burn out. When installing this rebuild kit, take the time to thoroughly drain and flush your motorcycle's gas tank to remove any sediment. Installing a fresh pump and clean filter into a dirty tank will quickly destroy the new components and void the purpose of the rebuild.
O-Ring Lubrication: When reassembling the two plastic halves of the fuel pump housing, apply a very light coat of assembly lube, dielectric grease, or clean engine oil to the supplied O-rings. Pressing the housing together with dry O-rings significantly increases the risk of rolling or tearing the rubber. A torn internal O-ring will cause an immediate loss of fuel pressure inside the tank, preventing the bike from running correctly even with a brand new pump installed.
Yamaha CP2 / CP3 Platforms: Fits a wide range of Yamaha models including the MT-07, FZ-07, XSR700, Tracer 900, and MT-09.
Broad Compatibility: This kit fits numerous other makes and models. Please verify your exact motorcycle application using the manufacturer part number (47-2032) before disassembling your tank.
