It installs directly in place of the factory tank, seamlessly utilizing the OEM Honda radiator shrouds and side panels without requiring any cutting, trimming, or permanent modifications to your plastics. The tank is designed to directly accept the factory fuel pump for a reliable, plug-and-play installation.

Fitment:

• 2021–2024 – Honda CRF300L

Fitment Notes:

• Model Exclusion: This tank does not fit the Honda CRF300L Rally model, which utilizes a completely different factory fuel tank and fairing structure.

• The 2025 Shroud Update: If you own a 2025 or newer Honda CRF300L, you must use this specific tank (298760). Honda updated the radiator shrouds and turn signal mounting locations for the 2025 model year. The older generation Acerbis tank will not align correctly with these new plastics.

• Fuel Pump: You must remove the fuel pump from your OEM tank and transfer it to the Acerbis tank.
• Tank Prep & Installation: Before installing any aftermarket plastic fuel tank, it is important to thoroughly clean the inside. During the manufacturing process, small plastic shavings can be left inside the shell. Swirl a small amount of clean gasoline around inside the tank and dump it out into a safe catch pan before installing your fuel pump. This simple step prevents plastic debris from clogging your fuel pump filter and leaving you stranded on the trail.
• Color Choice: If you prioritize function over aesthetics for long-distance travel, consider selecting the "Clear / Natural" (translucent white) colorway if available. While the black tank looks incredibly sleek and matches the factory frame, the translucent natural plastic allows you to visually see your exact fuel level with just a glance.
