Featuring a fully adjustable torque setting range from 15 to 60 inch-pounds (in-lbs), this wrench allows you to dial in the exact torque value specified by your motorcycle or aftermarket rim manufacturer. When the set tension is reached during tightening, the wrench body gives a distinct physical click and release. Fitment Notes:

• Universal Spoked Wheel Application: Compatible with front and rear spoked wheels on virtually all dirt bikes, dual-sports, adventure bikes, and vintage motorcycles.

• Expandable System: Accepts additional or replacement individual heads from the Excel TWH series for non-standard or specialty spoke nipple sizes.

• Proper Spoke Tightening Sequence: Never tighten spokes sequentially in a circle around the rim (e.g., spoke 1, 2, 3, 4). Doing so pulls the rim out of round and creates severe hops. The correct method is to tighten every third spoke, rotating around the wheel three full times until every spoke has been torqued. Work incrementally—if your target torque is 45 in-lbs, make a pass around the wheel at 30 in-lbs first, then a final pass at 45 in-lbs to ensure the rim stays true as tension builds evenly.

• Storage and Calibration Maintenance: Like any precision torque wrench, always back the adjustment handle off to its lowest setting (15 in-lbs) before returning the tool to its hard case. Leaving the internal spring compressed under high tension during long-term storage compresses the spring coil and causes the tool to lose calibration over time. Additionally, make sure spoke nipples are clean and lightly lubricated; dry or corroded threads create thread friction that trips the torque wrench early before the spoke achieves true mechanical tension.
