The Baby Powder Hack: Avoid installing an inner tube "dry". Before stuffing the tube into the tire carcass, put a handful of standard baby powder (talcum powder) inside a plastic bag with the tube and shake it up. The powder acts as a dry lubricant, allowing the tube to easily unfold and settle evenly inside the tire when inflated, entirely preventing friction chafing and pinch points.
