Yoshimura RS-12 Slip-On Muffler for the 2020–2026 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin

The Yoshimura RS-12 ADV Slip-On Exhaust (12401BS520) is designed to drastically reduce weight, smooth out power delivery, and deliver a refined exhaust note for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin. It sounds so good! Designed specifically for the demands of adventure riding, this muffler utilizes Yoshimura's asymmetrical RS-12 profile. This unique shape maximizes internal muffler volume to manage sound output while simultaneously providing increased clearance for the rear tire and brake caliper during full suspension compression.

By replacing the bulky factory exhaust, this slip-on drops the overall weight from 13.4 lbs down to a slim 8.7 lbs, significantly reducing top-heavy mass. The stainless steel sleeve features Yoshimura’s proprietary "Works Finish," a matte/satin treatment that increases fatigue strength and scratch resistance. The exhaust is capped with a premium matte carbon fiber end cap featuring the Precision Taper Fit (PTF) ring, which makes installing and removing sound inserts or spark arrestors incredibly simple. Because this is a Street Series slip-on, it retains your factory catalytic converter and emissions equipment, providing a direct bolt-on installation.

Fitment Notes:

• Understanding Works Finish: When you pull this exhaust out of the box, it will have an even, silver/satin finish. After your first long ride, do not be surprised when the metal begins to change color. Wiping down the exhaust after installation with some alcohol and a clean rag after installation will limit and finger prints or smudges from getting baked to the finish.

• Spark Arrestor: This muffler does not come with a spark arrestor. It is an accessory.  Yoshimura SA-19-K Spark Arrestor The RS-12 allows you to simply remove one retaining bolt on the tip and slide the insert straight out, making trackside compliance checks a 30-second job.

• Transmission Compatibility: Compatible with both standard manual and DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) models.

• Luggage Compatibility: The low-profile asymmetrical shape is designed to clear factory Honda panniers and most standard aftermarket luggage racks.
