The Michelin Anakee Adventure 2 is Michelin’s latest generation 80/20 adventure tire, built for riders who spend most of their time on pavement but still demand real traction when the route turns to gravel, dirt roads, and backcountry two-track.
Compared to the original Anakee Adventure, the Adventure 2 delivers longer tread life, improved wet-weather grip, and more stable handling on heavy, high-powered adventure bikes. Michelin’s updated tread pattern and silica-rich compound are designed to warm up quickly, maintain grip in cold or wet conditions, and resist cupping and uneven wear over long highway miles.
On pavement, the Anakee Adventure 2 behaves like a modern sport-touring tire. Turn-in is smooth and predictable, straight-line stability is excellent at highway speeds, and braking performance is strong even in the rain. When you leave the asphalt, the open tread blocks provide significantly more bite than a street tire, giving you dependable traction on gravel, hardpack, and dry dirt without sacrificing road manners.
This tire is aimed squarely at riders who ride long distances, carry luggage, and expect their tires to work across a wide range of surfaces without constant compromise.
80/20 on-road / off-road design optimized for adventure and dual-sport touring
Updated tread pattern for improved stability, reduced noise, and more even wear
