Enduro Engineering Taper Lock Set for Aluminum Handlebars

The Enduro Engineering 50-033S is an expansion anchor kit designed specifically for mounting wrap-around handguards tosteel handlebars. Because steel handlebars have thinner walls than aluminum bars, they possess a larger internal diameter that standard handguard inserts cannot accommodate.

As the mounting bolt is tightened, the wedge is pulled into the expansion sleeve, forcing it to expand uniformly against the inner wall of the handlebar. This creates a high-friction mechanical bond that prevents handguard rotation.

Specifications:

• Compatibility: Steel handlebars only - standard 7/8" bars found on many entry-level or vintage motorcycles

• Handlebar Types: Compatible with most Renthal, ProTaper, and Neken aluminum bars. Note: Not compatible with steel handlebars due to thinner wall thickness/larger internal diameter

• Material: Machined aluminum expansion sleeves with steel hardware

• Color: Silver - Natural aluminum finish

• Contents: Includes two (2) complete taper lock assemblies - enough for one set of handlebars

• Tool Requirement: Requires a standard hex/allen key for tightening (not included).

Fitment Note:

• Ensure the handlebar ends are cut clean and free of debris or grip glue before insertion to ensure maximum surface contact.
