Enduro Engineering Taper Lock Set for Aluminum Handlebars

The Enduro Engineering Taper Lock Set is a heavy-duty mounting solution designed to secure wrap-around handguards to most aluminum handlebars. This kit replaces the standard expanding rubber or thin-wall metal inserts often found in universal handguard kits, which are prone to slipping or pulling out during impacts.

As the mounting bolt is tightened, the wedge is pulled into the expansion sleeve, forcing it to expand uniformly against the inner wall of the handlebar. This creates a high-friction mechanical bond that prevents handguard rotation.

Specifications:

• Fitment: Designed for aluminum handlebars - both 7/8" and 1-1/8" taper bars

• Internal Diameter: Fits bars with an approximate ID of 14mm.

• Hardware: Includes two (2) complete taper lock expansion assemblies.

• Compatibility: Works with Enduro Engineering handguards and most other brands using a standard bar-end mounting bolt. Compatible with most Renthal, ProTaper, ODI, Cheetah Factory Racing and Neken aluminum bars. 

• Tool Requirement: Requires a standard hex/allen key for tightening (not included).

Fitment Notes:

• Will NOT fit Steel Handlebars, Renthal Twinwall, or Yamaha ProTaper handlebars.
