Fitment Notes:

• Basket Sleeves:The RMS-2807007 kit includes Rekluse's steel basket sleeve protectors that slide over the tangs of your OEM aluminum clutch basket. These thin steel sleeves shield the soft aluminum basket fingers from being notched or gouged by the friction plate tabs during heavy engagement. Ensure every sleeve is fully seated against the bottom of the basket slot before dropping in the new friction and steel plate stack.
• Pre-Soak Friction Plates: Before installing the Rekluse TorqDrive friction plates into your motorcycle, soak them in fresh, JASO MA/MA2 approved 4-stroke engine oil for a minimum of 5 to 10 minutes. Installing dry friction plates will burn the friction material instantly upon initial startup, causing permanent damage and severe clutch slip. Always check and re-adjust clutch cable freeplay at the lever after the initial thermal cycle.
