LeoVince LV-X Slip-On for the Suzuki DR650 

The LeoVince LV-X Slip-On (3378) is a purpose-built dual-sport exhaust designed specifically to modernize the performance and handling of the venerable Suzuki DR650. Replacing the heavily restricted and exceptionally heavy factory muffler, the LV-X provides a massive weight reduction while delivering a deeper four-stroke exhaust note without being overly loud.

The LV-X is constructed to withstand the abuse of off-road riding. It features an AISI 304 stainless steel internal structure and link pipe, wrapped in a highly durable, lightweight aluminum outer sleeve. Crucially for dual-sport and adventure riders, this slip-on includes a USFS-approved spark arrestor, ensuring your motorcycle remains completely legal for use on state and federal trail systems.

Fitment Notes:

• Header Compatibility: Designed to mate perfectly with the OEM Suzuki header pipe. (Fitment with aftermarket headers is not guaranteed and may require modification).

• The Carburetor Reality: The DR650 comes from the factory tuned incredibly lean to pass strict EPA emissions standards. Installing a high-flowing exhaust like the LV-X will exacerbate this lean condition. To actually experience the performance benefits of this exhaust—and to prevent your engine from running dangerously hot—you must re-jet the carburetor. We highly recommend pairing this exhaust installation with a JD Jetting kit and modifying the top of the factory airbox to allow the engine to breathe properly.

• The Boat Anchor: The factory DR650 muffler weighs nearly 12 pounds. Swapping to the LV-X removes a massive amount of weight from high up and far back on the subframe. This is one of the most noticeable handling upgrades you can perform on a DR650, making the bike feel significantly lighter and more nimble when navigating tight single-track or picking the bike up after a tip-over.
