ENDURO ENGINEERING - RADIATOR GUARDS - 2016–2026 KTM & HUSQVARNA ENDURO / DUALSPORT

Enduro Engineering Radiator Guards for 2016–2026 KTM & Husqvarna Enduro and Dualsport Motorcycles

The Enduro Engineering Radiator Guards (12-1116) provide essential frontal and side-impact protection for the radiators on current-generation KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas motorcycles. Manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy, these guards are designed to replace the factory plastic louvers, drastically increasing the radiator's resistance to crushing, bending, and puncture damage from roost, branches, and crashes.

The design utilizes a rigid front aluminum grid to deflect trail debris, paired with structural rear support brackets that tie directly into the frame. This creates a cage-like effect around the fragile aluminum radiator core, preventing it from folding backward during a heavy side impact. Despite the robust construction, the guards are engineered with optimized fin spacing to ensure unrestricted airflow, maintaining the motorcycle's cooling efficiency in slow-speed, technical terrain.

Features:

  • Billet Construction: Machined from high-quality aluminum alloy for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio.

  • Full-Coverage Protection: Defends against frontal punctures from trail debris and lateral crushing from tip-overs and crashes.

  • Optimized Airflow: Engineered louver spacing ensures maximum air passage to prevent engine overheating in tight enduro conditions.

  • Direct Bolt-On: Replaces the OEM plastic louvers and mounts directly to existing frame points without requiring cutting or drilling.

  • Structural Support: Includes rear bracing arms that anchor the radiators to the frame, preventing backward deflection.

Fitment Notes:

  • Installation: When assembling and mounting radiator guards, patience is key. Thread every single bolt (front louvers, rear braces, and frame mounts) in loosely by hand before tightening anything down. Aluminum radiators and motorcycle frames have slight manufacturing variances. Leaving the hardware loose allows the guard assembly to shift and align perfectly with all mounting points. Once all bolts are started, go back and tighten them evenly to factory torque specs.

  • Unprotected Radiators: OEM aluminum radiators are easy to bend and very expensive to replace. A simple zero-speed tip-over onto a rock can easily crush the lower tank or pinch the core shut, instantly ending your ride and causing potential engine overheating. Installing aluminum guards is one of the most critical preventative modifications you can make for off-road and hard enduro riding.
