Acerbis X-Power Engine Guards for the 2025+ Yamaha Tenere 700

The Acerbis X-Power Engine Guards (2988020001) are impact-resistant protective covers designed specifically to shield the clutch and ignition cases on the Gen 2 (2025+) Yamaha Ténéré 700. The CP2 engine sits relatively wide in the chassis, making the lower engine cases highly susceptible to deep gouging from heavy off-road boots, rock strikes, and direct impacts during low-speed tip-overs. These guards offer a vital layer of sacrificial protection that prevents a ride-ending cracked engine block.

Manufactured from a highly durable, temperature-resistant polymer, the X-Power guards are molded to perfectly match the contours of the factory Yamaha engine cases. The intelligent over-molded design means they bolt directly on using the supplied extended hardware without requiring you to drain the engine oil, remove the OEM covers, or disturb the factory engine gaskets.
