Akrapovic designed exhaust has been exclusively modeled to integrate perfectly with the NX500. Comprised of a carbon-fibre muffler outer sleeve and end cap, with a high-grade stainless-steel link pipe and inner muffler structure. The system saves 48.8%, over 4 pounds in weight when compared with the stock exhaust system. Wake up the sounds and the seat of the pants feeling of the parallel twin.
The performance and torque are also increased by 0.6 kW (0.8 hp) at 7,450 rpm and 0.8 Nm at 4,600 rpm, respectively, when tested on the Akrapovič dyno and compared to a Honda NX500 equipped with a standard stock system.
