As smartphones and GPS units require increasingly higher wattage to run power-intensive navigation apps with maximum screen brightness, standard 1A or 2A USB-A chargers simply cannot keep up. This Koso unit utilizes modern USB-C Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge protocols, safely delivering up to 3 Amps of charging current—charging compatible devices up to three times faster than legacy adapters.

Engineered for the demands of powersports, the charger is fully IP67 waterproof and features a minimalist form factor that blends cleanly into any motorcycle cockpit. The built-in smart LED indicator provides immediate visual feedback, glowing solid when your device is actively charging and flashing a warning if your motorcycle's battery voltage drops below 11.5V. The included comprehensive mounting kit provides multiple installation options, from wrapping securely around standard handlebars to adhering flat onto fairing panels.

KOSO USB-C Charging Port Instructions

Features:

High-Speed Charging: Supports PD2.0/3.0, PPS, and Quick Charge protocols to deliver up to 3A of current, charging devices roughly 3x faster than standard USB ports.

IP67 Waterproof: Fully sealed against heavy rain, mud, and trail dust for reliable operation in any weather condition.

Low Voltage Warning: Integrated LED indicator flashes to alert you if the motorcycle's input voltage drops below 11.5V, preventing a dead battery.

Smart Protection: Features built-in short-circuit and over-heat protection to safeguard your expensive electronics.

Minimalist Design: Measures just 2.2" x 0.5" x 0.8", making it incredibly easy to tuck out of the way on crowded handlebars.

What's in the Box:

1x Koso Single Port USB-C Charger (KW005001)

3x Handlebar Clamps (7/8", 1", and 1-1/8")

1x Hook-and-Loop Adhesive Strip

Mounting Hardware & Zip Ties

Installation Instructions

Fitment Notes:

Universal Compatibility: Can be installed on any motorcycle, ATV, or UTV with a standard 12V DC power system.

Mounting Options: The included clamp set fits the vast majority of standard (7/8"), metric cruiser (1"), and oversized "fat" (1-1/8") handlebars. If your bike's charging system (stator/rectifier) begins to fail, or if you are running too many heated accessories at idle, your battery voltage will drop. The LED on this charger will immediately start flashing to alert you of the power deficit before you are stranded on the side of the trail with a motorcycle that won't restart.

Switched Power Installation: Because this charger has an internal transformer and a diagnostic LED, it will draw a microscopic amount of parasitic current if wired directly to the battery terminals. If the bike sits for several weeks, this can eventually lead to battery drain. We highly recommend wiring this charger into an ignition-switched 12V circuit (such as a factory auxiliary port or a dedicated power distribution block) so it completely powers down when the ignition key is removed.

Part Number: KW005001

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0622/5720/1317/files/Koso_Single_Port_USB-C_Charger_KW005001.jpg?v=1791260777
